League starts Tommorrow

Ok yall its been a loonnggg time since I last wrote, 15 days, I guess thats not a good way to keep a blog, but I kind of got busy with just "being" in Lugo.

Tomorrow is my first league game and I am ready! It has finally come. what I have been preparing myself for all summer and working hard to keep myself in shape for. So I have to take care of business Tomorrow and every consecutive game. Pray for my success!

Well you may be asking what have I been doing all this time since I last wrote. We played a total of 5 preseason games, we only lost one, but we did not win the Galician Cup and I am disappointed about that. But we beat some teams challenging so I am optimistic about our success in the league this year.

I went to "The Wall" last weekend. It is beautiful and very different. The Murralla is a huge wall & fortress that was built around the interior of the city, their downtown. Therefore, Lugo has a city within a city, and it is called The Wall! I also went to a beach in A Coruna. It is another big city in this region of Spain. The beach was beautiful and I really enjoyed myself. I did not get stopped by the police this time.

I've made some friends here, some American basketball players, three of them. Jeff, Jeff, and Eric. Jeff Adrien is from Boston have played at UCONN, the other Jeff is from Rhode Island, and Eric is originally from Kentucky but now he lives in Minnesota. Both can speak Criola Jeffs, is not that amazing. Jeff A's family is from Haiti and the other Jeff's family is from a small Island in between African & Portugal. Artevein, i think that is what their nationality is.Very different places in the States but they are all very nice and been warm to me since Ive been here. Jeff brought his fiance here and she is gonna stay with him. I met her today, her name is Marisa. She seems to be a very sweet person. I am happy for them! Her family gets to come in December and stay a week, it will be their first time out of the States, what a great experience for them!
Oh yes I also have foreign friends too. One from Italy named Andrea and one from Portugal named Beto. He is also very nice! I can not forget my teammates that are friends to me, Miriam, Anne, and Claudia. Very nice girls.

So as you can see I have met new people and I am having fun experiences! The American guys have cars and they know where everything is located! So it is a blessing that they are here, especially since I am the only American on my team.
Well I will tell you how my game goes! O i forgot to tell you for the next two weeks there is a huge festival here in San FreLoin Lugo called. I will get to experience it in the next few days. Ill take some pics!

Thank you for stepping into the Erod Experience!
